Philbey joins ZUMA with over 15 years of experience including a 10-year stint with a leading international sports picture agency.
From Xtreme sports to tennis, Philbey captures the magic moment of all events he shoots, including the Olympic Games, Formula One, Indy cars and Grand Prix motorcycle racing, football and rugby. Added to that is his experience assisting sports photography legends Walter Ioos and Peter Read Miller of Sports Illustrated.
Over the years, Philbey added music to his palate. Focusing on live performance and environmental portraits, his lens brings international exposure to almost every major band and concert touring Down Under.
He has worked with and shot CD covers for Australia's top musical talent: Savage Garden, Living End and Kacey Chambers. Most recently, he finished an assignment for all promo photography [CD, DVD, merchandise, video and concert stills] for the rock band 'KISS'.
