ZUMA Press Strengthens Management Team: Appoints Krista Kennell as Assistant Managing Editor

ZUMA Press, one of the world's leading providers of editorial photography, today ZUMA Press announced the appointment of Krista Kennell to the newly created position of Assistant Managing Editor.
Kennell joins ZUMA Press from Getty Images News Service, where she held the position of Entertainment/News Picture Editor. A University of Missouri/Columbia photo-journalism graduate, Kennell brings an additional 10 years of combined media experience as a photographer, photo editor and journalist, including a stint at picture agency powerhouse Corbis.
Kennell will work hand-in-hand with ZUMA Press Picture Desk Manager Ruaridh Stewart. Among her responsibilities will be overseeing overall quality control of images and their meta data on ZUMA Press' business-to-business downloadable image-retrieval service and Website: www.ZUMApress.com.
Kennell will also drive longer term initiatives including growing the ZUMA Press Picture Collections product to meet increased demand for high-quality photo essays and reportage packages.
