ZUMA Press Expands into Asia by Joining Forces with China's Largest Picture Agency
Laguna Beach, CA - April 30, 2003
ZUMA Press, one of the world's leading providers of editorial photography, expanded its presence in the Far East today by announcing a joint licensing agreement with the largest photo agency in China: Imaginechina.
Under terms of the deal, Imaginechina will represent ZUMA Press exclusively in the key Asian markets of China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Likewise, ZUMA Press will represent Imaginechina content exclusively in the Americas, Australia and the United Kingdom.
"Our partnership with Imaginechina will play an important role in further increasing our global market share for licensed images, particularly since China is the fastest growing media market in the world," says Scott Mc Kiernan, Director of ZUMA Press.
