ZUMA Press Partners with eyevine
Laguna Beach, CA - March 11, 2004
Today ZUMA Press, the world's premier picture agency and wire service, expanded the depth of its reportage and feature imagery by sealing a content partnership with European picture agency eyevine.
Graham Cross and David Leverton--both established industry professionals--founded eyevine in London. Their fresh approach as an agency has attracted a number of award-winning photojournalists including Andrew Buurman, a 2003 World Press Photo Award winner for sports imagery of Serpentine Swimmers in London's Hyde Park.
"I am proud to be working with such a dynamic and progressive agency as eyevine. They are doing a great job of selecting top-tier photographers that create wonderful in-depth stories ranging from the edgy to the unexpected," said Scott Mc Kiernan, director and founder of ZUMA Press.
Some of the eyevine stories available via ZUMA include complete coverage of the first successful, unassisted mission to the South Pole, Japanese women wrestlers, the big business of India's human hair trade and Ultimate Fighting--the hottest ticket to hit the U.K. fight scene.
