ZUMA Press seals deal with Russia's largest Picture Agency
Laguna Beach, CA - April 17, 2003
ZUMA Press, Inc. (www.ZUMApress.com), one of the world's leading providers of editorial photography, is pleased to announce the signing of a joint licensing agreement with Kommersant, Russia's largest editorial photo agency.
The agreement gives ZUMA Press world-wide licensing rights (outside Europe) to over five million Kommersant images that document the most important events in Russia's post-perestroika period. Subjects include news, politics, features, the arts and more. Similarly, the agreement makes Kommersant the exclusive agent of ZUMA Press in Russia, expanding ZUMA's penetration of that market.
