People on the Move - Cheryl Hatch Source: PDN Online March 17, 2005 ZUMA Press has signed documentary photojournalist Cheryl Hatch, whose work in Africa and the Middle East has explored the impact of war on women and children. The former Associated Press staff photographer is preparing to embark on a trip to Northern Iraq later this month to train Iraqi journalists at the Institute for War and Peace Reporting. Hatch's reportage on women soldiers in Eritrea, funded by a Pew Fellowship from Johns Hopkins University, can be seen here.
