ZUMA Press has announced their exclusive representation of the multi-award-winning newspapers the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday and the London Evening Standard. These titles are part of Associated Newspapers, the U.K.'s largest newspaper group.
ZUMA now syndicates the daily picture production of these leading titles. In the weeks ahead, ZUMA will also incorporate their photo archives into ZUMApress.com and make the content available to editorial clients.
The deal follows many other similar and very successful relationships ZUMA has forged with leading newspapers across the continent, including the San Antonio Express-News, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Sacramento Bee the Toronto Star, among others.
Founded in 1896, the Daily Mail dominates the U.K.'s middle newspapers with more than six million readers. The Mail on Sunday is known for its unmatched investigative journalism. Founded in 1982, the Mail on Sunday leads the mid-market Sunday papers with a circulation of more than 2.4 million. As London's only evening newspaper, the Evening Standard (circulation 400,000) sets the agenda for the following day's national news with a mixture of eye-catching news, features and entertainment coverage.
Scott Mc Kiernan, director and founder of ZUMA Press. "By working with us, our newspaper partners are broadening the exposure and reach of their content while generating significant new revenue growth. I look forward to replicating our model for success with Associated Newspapers and other overseas partners," he says.
The arrangement to represent these prestigious publications of the Associated Newspaper group was done through Solo Syndication Ltd.
